Ingredients for Sausage Gravy:
- 14 oz bulk pork sausage.
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour.
- 2 cup milk.
- 1/2 onion.
- 1 dash worcestershire sauce.
- 2 dash hot sauce.
- 1/2 tsp salt.
- 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter.
Step by step how to cook Sausage Gravy:
- Brown sausage in the pan.
- Add minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer on low until onion is translucent..
- Add flour and butter to the browned sausage and mix together until flour is cooked.
- Slowly mix in milk.
- Simmer on low until gravy thickens.
- Adjust seasonings to taste.
