Ingredients for Sausage Gravy:

  1. 1 lb Pork sausage Ground.
  2. 4 tbsp flour.
  3. 3 cup Whole milk.
  4. 1 Salt and pepper to taste.

Step by step how to cook Sausage Gravy:

  1. Crumbled your sausage and brown In skillet.
  2. When the sausage is completely done... add flour slowly 1 tablespoon at a time.
  3. with each tablespoon added stur slowly until the grease absorbs the flower... repeat until all 4 tablespoons of flour have been added.
  4. stirring constantly until all grease is absorbed by flour.
  5. depending on how greasy your sausages is you may want to add another tablespoon of flour to make sure there is no leftover grease.
  6. when flour is completely absorbed ... slowly add the milk 1 cup at a time.
  7. as you add each cup of milk make sure that you stir constantly.
  8. if you added more flour do to the amount of grease that your sausage made.. you may want to add a half a cup of milk accordingly.
  9. stir constantly until gravy has thickened.
  10. the gravy is not completely done until it quits thinking.. if it gets to thick add in a little more milk as you go.
  11. serve on top of biscuits or toast.
