- 1 (14.5 oz) can stewed tomatoes.
- 1 large yellow onion.
- 2 small zucchini.
- 2 small to medium yellow squash.
- 8 oz mushrooms (white button or cremini).
- 1 stick butter.
- 1 1/3 cup yellow corn meal.
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour.
- 1/2 cup water.
- 1-1 1/2 tsp salt (start with 1, adjust to taste).
- 1/4 tsp black pepper.
