Ingredients for When You're Sick Soup:
- 3 large yellow onions chopped.
- 1/2 bag shredded and cleaned collard greens.
- 1 bunch celery chopped.
- 6-8 red potatoes chopped.
- 1 bunch cilantro chopped.
- 1 bunch green onions chopped.
- 2 cartons chicken stock.
- 1 small bag of frozen corn.
- 3 chicken breast.
- 1 ring of smoked sausage (optional).
- 1 small carton heavy cream.
- 2 tbsp chopped garlic.
Step by step how to cook When You're Sick Soup:
- Put onions, garlic, and meat in stock pot with a little olive oil and brown.
- Add chicken stock and rest of vegetable ingredients and bring to boil.
- Turn to simmer and add cream stirring occasionally until potatoes are done. About 20 minutes roughly. We dont like mushy greens so 20 minutes is perfect for us..
