  1. 3 large yellow onions chopped.
  2. 1/2 bag shredded and cleaned collard greens.
  3. 1 bunch celery chopped.
  4. 6-8 red potatoes chopped.
  5. 1 bunch cilantro chopped.
  6. 1 bunch green onions chopped.
  7. 2 cartons chicken stock.
  8. 1 small bag of frozen corn.
  9. 3 chicken breast.
  10. 1 ring of smoked sausage (optional).
  11. 1 small carton heavy cream.
  12. 2 tbsp chopped garlic.

Step by step how to cook When You're Sick Soup:

  1. Put onions, garlic, and meat in stock pot with a little olive oil and brown.
  2. Add chicken stock and rest of vegetable ingredients and bring to boil.
  3. Turn to simmer and add cream stirring occasionally until potatoes are done. About 20 minutes roughly. We dont like mushy greens so 20 minutes is perfect for us..
