- Soup mix.
- 16 oz Dried green split peas..
- 2 Ham hocks, or 2 cups diced ham.
- 3 Carrots, peeled and sliced..
- 1/2 cup Onion. Chopped.
- 2 Ribs of celery plus leaves. Chopped..
- 2 clove Garlic. Minced..
- 1 Bay leaf.
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped, or 2 tsp dried parsley flakes.
- 1 tbsp Seasoned salt.
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper.
- 6 cup Hot water.
- Optional but delicious.
- 1 cup Andouille Sausage cut into 1/4" rounds.

- Mash peas to thicken more, if desired..
