- 13 oz dry black eye peas.
- 4 cup chicken broth.
- 4 cup water.
- 1/3 large onion.
- 1 medium red pepper.
- 1 medium green pepper.
- 2 1/2 tbsp minced jalapenos.
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.
- 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- 1/2 tsp salt (may add more to suit your taste).
- 3/4 envelope chicken bolion cube.
- 1 packages smoked turkey sausage (you can use any smoked meat of your choice).
